Position: Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Help lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Prepare and execute high-quality dishes in line with the hotel's culinary standards.
- Maintain inventory, manage food costs, and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained.
- Assist with menu planning, including seasonal dishes and daily specials.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance on technique, presentation, and safety.
- Handle food preparation, plating, and ensuring a high standard of culinary excellence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining quality.
- Creative with an eye for detail and presentation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
