Handyman

Role Summary

The Handyman is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and plumbing systems within the company's facilities. This role ensures that all work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and established safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment as required.
• Perform plumbing works, including installation, maintenance, and repair of water lines, drainage, and sanitary systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure functionality of utilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Assist in minor carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance when necessary.
• Ensure all works comply with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, materials, and equipment used for maintenance work.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Officer regarding repair schedules and project priorities.
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Educational Background: At least High School Graduate; Vocational or technical training in electrical or plumbing works is an advantage.

Relevant Work Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in electrical and plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Physically fit and willing to work on site.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php461.00 per day
