Job Description:

  • Lead in the continuous study and identification of appropriate cost reductions programs and productivity improvement in all the other departments of the company
  • Establish areas for improvement and see the need to update the existing process, procedure, standards, and work instructions and come up with a work plan and staffing for each phase of the project/program.
  • Review the project proposal or action plans to determine the committed time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and the allotment of necessary resources
  • to various phases of the programs and project

  • Confer with heads and staff to provide technical advice and to resolve problems; provide the necessary leadership and management support to enhance the efforts of project staff

  • Attend monthly operations review for alignment of deliverables with other Department, brainstorm on issues and propose potential solutions to address and resolve them.

  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Present information and respond to questions from a group of Managers and the employees in general

Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • With at least 2 to 5 years work experience gained as Production Manager from Manufacturing Industry
  • ISO training is an advantage
  • Training on Production Management
  • With strong leadership skills
  • Ability to create spreadsheets or database using more complex formula setting using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and technical procedures.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
