We are seeking for a
Senior Microbiologist
with proven expertise in managing daily operations, supervising and mentoring technical teams, and ensuring full compliance with DOH, ISO 17025:2017, and GLP standards. Skilled in method development, validation, and driving process improvements while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Adept at managing project timelines and providing technical consultation to clients with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Microbiology or any related courses.
  • At least 3 years of working experience as Microbiologist.
  • Must be A PAM certified
    Registered Microbiologist (RMicro).
  • With aseptic techniques and sterility testing experience.
  • Knowledgeable in water, cosmetics, and pharma testing is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with identification techniques for bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge in conducting method verification, validation, and development of analytical methods.
  • Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
  • Creative, versatile, has the ability to work efficiently, and meet output deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the microbiology laboratory.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory analyst and technicians .
  • Develop and maintain laboratory schedules and workflow processes.
  • Lead method development and validation projects.
  • Design and implement laboratory improvement initiatives.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for testing projects.
  • Provide technical consultation to clients regarding testing results.
  • Signatory for DOH, ISO17025:2017, and other required lab accreditations.
  • Ensure laboratory compliance with safety regulations and procedures and disposal of waste.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety and Health Management.

  • Maintain Good laboratory Practice (GLP), safety, and housekeeping program in the instrumentation section.
