Job description
  • To be able to provide a high level of Customer Service within the store through effective management of people and stock, thus ensuring the maximum sales potential and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Performs cashiering functions smoothly and in a standard manner.
  • Performs and ensures accurate and regular physical count.
  • Delivers high level of customer service to the internal and external customers at all times to maximize sales potential and achieve targets.
  • Implements display and visual merchandising to enhance sales at all times.
  • Ensures budget for store is managed and that expenditure stays within agreed levels.
  • Ensures store administration is carried out according to statutory procedure.
  • Creates a safe working environment for employees and customers through ensuring Health and Safety regulations and guidelines are adhered to.
  • Ensures store security, concerning stock and money, policies and procedures are complied with.
  • Leads, motivates and develops the team to maximize performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Has the ability to analyse data and identify issues and provide recommendations to improve sales and profitability.
  • Has the ability to report sales and data analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year retail work experience in a supervisory role
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
