Safety Officer

Job description

1. Safety Program Implementation:

· Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of safety programs, policies, and procedures.

· Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of safety practices into daily operations.

2. Training and Education:

· Assist in organizing and conducting safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors, focusing on proper safety protocols and procedures.

· Help develop training materials and resources to enhance safety awareness and knowledge.

3. Incident Reporting and Analysis:

· Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.

· Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions taken.

4. Data Management

· Collect, organize, and maintain safety-related data, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training records.

· Assist in analyzing safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

5. Emergency Preparedness:

· Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.

· Support the coordination of emergency drills and exercises to evaluate the organization's preparedness.

6. Compliance and Reporting:

· Stay informed about relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards, and assist in ensuring the organization's compliance.

· Help prepare and submit required safety reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.

7. Comunication and Collaboration:

· Communicate safety updates, initiatives, and best practices to employees and management.

· Collaborate with colleagues and departments to address safety concerns and implement solutions.

8. Continuous Improvement:

· Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the organization's safety culture and overall safety performance.

9. Perform other related tasks assigned from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Safety Officer: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• COSH (Preferred)
