About the Role:

In this role, you will design, develop, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive learning and development programs aimed at enhancing technical competencies in power plant operations and maintenance. Your expertise will ensure that training aligns with industry standards and operational needs, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging instructional materials including manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and practical exercises.
  • Deliver training sessions utilizing various instructional techniques such as hands-on exercises, case studies, simulations, and scenario-based learning.
  • Continuously evaluate and update training content to reflect current operational procedures, industry best practices, and plant conditions.
  • Support the delivery of advanced, specialized, and high-impact training programs.
  • Adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels.
  • Track trainee progress, identify learning challenges, and develop remedial instruction plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, assessments, and learner progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external training providers to ensure training quality and relevance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs and methods.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Post-graduate studies are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in technical learning and development, particularly within power plant operations or similar industries.
  • Proven expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and facilitation.
  • Familiarity with competency-based, experiential, and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multicultural teams and external partners.
  • Registered Engineer or Professional Engineer license is preferred.
