About the role
Polystar General Services' is seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As a Mason, you will be responsible for the construction and repair of various masonry structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Constructing and repairing masonry structures such as walls, foundations, chimneys, and fireplaces
- Laying bricks, blocks, and stones according to blueprints and specifications
- Mixing and applying mortar, plaster, and other masonry materials
- Ensuring proper measurements, alignment, and structural integrity of masonry work
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to complete projects
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and protocols
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mason or in a similar construction role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
