About the role

As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the firm's online presence. This is a role for a law firm based in Sydney, Australia.

This is a contract role based in Makati City Metro Manila, offering flexible work arrangements to support your work-life balance. The standard working hours are between 6:30am to 3:30pm (Manila Time).

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement website designs that align with the firm's brand and user experience standards
  2. Build responsive and mobile-friendly websites using the latest web technologies
  3. Optimise website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the website's functionality and content
  5. Provide ongoing maintenance, updates and troubleshooting for the firm's website
  6. Ensure website security and compliance with industry standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a website developer, with a strong portfolio of projects
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent professional experience
  3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive web design
  4. Knowledge of web development frameworks and content management systems, such as WordPress
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  8. Understanding of fundamentals of SEO
  9. Familiarity with DNS config, version control, hosting environments
