Overall Purpose of Role
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer specialising in React with 5 years of professional experience. You will take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end applications. Beyond coding, you'll set best practices, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with design, product, and back-end teams to deliver seamless experiences

Skills and Competencies - Must haves Expert in JavaScript (ES6 ) and TypeScript. Deep expertise with React (hooks, context, state management, component architecture, performance optimisation). Experience with frameworks like for SSR/SSG. Strong knowledge of CSS, SCSS, and responsive design principles. Proficient in accessibility (WCAG standards) and cross-browser compatibility. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for front-end projects. Strong testing experience: unit (Jest), integration, and end-to-end (Cypress/Playwright). Optional positives Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with GraphQL and API-driven development. Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architectures. Experience with micro-frontends and design systems (Storybook, component libraries). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Contributions to open-source projects or community engagement. :30am to 5pm Mon-Fri (GMT days holiday per year You work as a contractor and are responsible for your own tax You need a min 20 MB broadband line, and your own PC/Laptop and headset.
