JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Performs technical procedures assigned and/or assists the Radiologists/Radiology residents in performing procedures;
  • Cleans imaging equipment and machines, keeps them in good working condition and reports any defects;
  • Keeps the working area clean at all times;
  • Monitors the supply of reagents and other items needed in the performance of procedures;
  • Follows safety and quality guidelines and procedures promulgated by the Hospital and/or regulatory agencies;
  • Schedules patients for procedures in coordination with the department secretary;
  • Prepares/assists in the preparation of results;
  • Prepares/assists in the preparation of periodic reports. Adheres to proper safety precautions and infection prevention and control;
  • Ensures confidentiality and security of data, compliant with the requirements of the patient privacy or confidentiality act.; and
  • Perform other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Chief Radiologic Technologist, Head of the Department and Assistant Director of Ancillary Services

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology; must be a licensed Radiologic Technologist
  • Preferably with experience in MRI, CT Scan, X-ray
  • People-handling, good communication, conflict resolution
  • Pro-active, team player, attentive to details, with high degree of integrity
  • Two (2) Full-Time positions available
