Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage cloud resources (compute, storage, and network) on AWS, including identity and access management, network design, and cloud security.
  • Develop scripts and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Build and deploy the team's software delivery pipeline by introducing, implementing, and maintaining automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems, and data security.
  • Ensure application and system health by implementing automated monitoring alerts and reports.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues.
Technical Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications on AWS, with hands-on experience in hybrid serverless and containerized microservice architectures.
  • First-hand experience in developing infrastructure as a code and infrastructure monitoring tools, including AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CDK and SST, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Working knowledge of serverless technologies, including AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Aurora, AWS Fargate, and AWS ECS.
  • Working knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes (K8), and Linux environments.
  • Experience setting up, orchestrating, and managing Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments, networks, and private subnets on AWS, ensuring secure cross-communication between resources.
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection best practices and standards with regard to resource orchestration.
  • Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment.
  • Experience setting up application-status and infrastructure performance monitoring.
  • Possesses a strong command of software-automation production systems, including Jenkins and Selenium.
  • Experience creating database and application documentation that represent and support business processes.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
