About the Role
  • Prepare and update the bank's Compliance Testing Plan to identify relevant banking laws, rules, regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate with Head Office Unit personnel to implement the Compliance Program, particularly the Compliance Testing Plan.
  • Facilitate the preparation of summary reports and presentation materials for Corporate Governance Committee and other bank committees as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation of initial new/updated Compliance Programs related to banking/AML laws, rules, and regulations.
  2. Perform other tasks assigned from time to time by the Head Office Unit Compliance Testing Section Head.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A graduate degree in a 4-year business course such as Accounting or Banking and Finance.
  • A Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • Previous work experience (at least 1-2 years) in Audit or Compliance of a bank.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise on banking, AML laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.
  • High analytical and research skills, excellent oral and written/presentation communication skills, and good work planning and organizing skills.
