Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join our IT ERP team as a Workday Financial Consultant. This role involves specializing in the finance part of the platform, with opportunities to experience the full Workday Platform including HCM, Finance, and Professional Services.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Workday Finance, business process optimization, and operational processes in finance. They will also possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to bridge IT and Finance teams effectively.

In this role, you will work closely with Finance teams globally to develop and implement best-practice finance processes, leveraging Workday to drive operational excellence. You will assist in configuring business processes in the Workday application, creating solution designs based on key business requirements, and proposing ways to innovate and make our solutions more efficient.

About the Role

  • Configure finance business processes in Workday, collaborating with Finance teams.
  • Create solution designs based on key business requirements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy solutions in the Workday application.
  • Participate in application support and maintenance tasks.
  • Handle core finance data change requests, such as adding new cost centers or configuring entities.
  • Propose innovations to enhance our solutions.

Key Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or IT.
  • Solid knowledge of Workday Finance (minimum 2 years of Workday experience).
  • Experience in Workday administration or configuration.
  • Business process optimization expertise.
  • Sound knowledge of operational processes in finance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, bridging IT and Finance.
  • Service-minded with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn and grow.
  • Solid analytical skills and a solution-focused attitude.
  • Task prioritization and deadline management skills.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies is beneficial.
