Job Title

An Intermediate Tax Professional is required to support senior accounting staff in Cebu and Melbourne by preparing tax returns, financial accounts, and compliance reports for clients.

The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day client queries, deliver accurate work by target deadlines, while ensuring smooth operations for accounting services. They will ensure high-quality accounting outcomes while building client trust and team capability.

  • Prepare and lodge tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Individuals
  • Prepare financial accounts with notes, reconciliations, and workpapers to compliance standards
  • Import and process accounting data from client software, bank statements, and source documents
  • Prepare BAS/IAS, PAYG, FBT, and EOFY reports
  • Work on CGT and Div7A calculations with the AU team
  • Post year-end journals, prepare tax reconciliations, and resolve review notes
  • Draft client billing and conduct WIP analysis
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge development
  • Contribute to process improvements, efficiency, and team collaboration
