Job Overview

The Sales Compensation Analyst is a crucial role that ensures the accuracy of bonus and commission programs. This position supports the monthly and quarterly commissions and bonus calculations for all business segments, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver timely compensation.

This analyst will lead the preparation and maintenance of the quarterly compensation workbook independently, ensuring accuracy and completeness. They will oversee and manage the end-to-end company-wide compensation process, driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.

The Sales Compensation Analyst will prepare and submit monthly incentives and bonus calculation files, reviewing and maintaining relevant data needed for accurate calculations. They will maintain sensitive and confidential information securely, in compliance with policies and procedures.

This role will address complex commission and bonus inquiries, adjustments, and corrections promptly, ensuring positive employee experience. The analyst will collaborate with revenue operations teams on systems improvements for commissions and document and maintain processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual commission accounting tasks and audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the quarterly compensation workbook, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee the end-to-end company-wide compensation process, driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly incentives and bonus calculation files, reviewing relevant data.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information securely.
  • Address complex commission and bonus inquiries, ensuring positive employee experience.
  • Collaborate with revenue operations teams on system improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Create complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualizations in Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail, staying organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Engage and communicate confidently with senior leaders and C-Suite executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Sales Compensation, FP&A, or a finance-related role.
