The Staff Accountant position plays a crucial role in accounting operations. Key responsibilities include producing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and implementing controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pulling daily and monthly reports for reconciliations with four different agencies.
  • Reconciling daily and monthly payment trackers to ensure all payments have posted.
  • Processing daily payment returns.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will share and understand our high growth objectives. A demonstrated ability in an accountant role is essential. The right candidate will exhibit good business judgment and acumen, be confident and flexible in their views, and possess strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experience including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing, and reconciliation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize, and manage projects.
  • Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize, and work independently.
Working Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
