We are seeking a seasoned expert in front-end development who can lead the creation and development of globally impactful social discovery products. Our international team of professionals works all over the world, united by our mission to solve problems of loneliness, isolation, and disconnection.

Your main tasks will be:

  • To develop high-performance web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • To implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal performance across various devices and screen sizes.
  • To participate in the architectural design and planning of web applications.
  • To collaborate with back-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate front-end components seamlessly.
  • To suggest improvements to existing front-end architecture designs.
  • To utilise front-end frameworks and libraries to build scalable and maintainable applications.
  • To conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
  • To identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal page load times and responsiveness.
  • To collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • To work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
  • To provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior front-end developers.
  • To troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges.

We expect from you:

  • Excellent skills with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS & HTML5.
  • Experience with React framework.
  • Experience with tailwindcss framework.
  • Experience with security aspects of UI development, including OWASP, CORS policy, etc.
  • Experience with Git & GitHub version control tools and processes.
  • Experience developing mobile/web applications.
  • Experience using debugging tools relevant to the product.
