Full Stack Engineer Role

About this role:

We are looking for an accomplished Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in React frontend development to spearhead the creation of a next-generation web-based video editor.

This is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your expertise in crafting user-friendly, high-performance features while collaborating on backend integrations and contributing to the technical architecture of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the React-based frontend of our video editor platform, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Expand into full-stack responsibilities, including backend services, APIs, and database integrations, to drive the growth of our platform.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate concepts into engaging user interfaces.
  • Optimize application performance across browsers and devices, guaranteeing responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes, upholding the highest standards of quality.
  • Contribute significantly to technical architecture decisions, proposing improvements and driving innovation within the team.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend workflows.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL, enabling seamless data exchange.
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks (Node.js, Express, or similar), facilitating smooth integrations.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI development, allowing for versatile and effective solutions.
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a significant advantage, providing opportunities for scalability and flexibility.
  • Prior experience in multimedia/video processing platforms is a valuable asset, offering unique insights and expertise.

Work Schedule:

  • Core working hours: 3 PM – 6 PM Manila time (team collaboration).
  • Flexible schedule for the remainder of the shift, accommodating diverse work styles.
