Job Description

As a Business Systems Analyst with Career Professionals, Inc., you will play a key role in ensuring that our business requirements are accurately gathered and documented.

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform business requirements gathering from external and internal stakeholders using elicitation techniques. The successful candidate will ensure proper documentation of these requirements using Infomax-approved templates and forms.

The Business Systems Analyst will create business requirements documentation and system specifications that drive product development and implementation. This involves reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating client requirements to implement systems solutions that support business processes requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Creating functional specifications provided by internal and external stakeholders for Infomax developed products and services.
  2. Developing process flow charts/diagrams to provide a visual overview of all tasks and relationships in a business process.
  3. Functioning as a liaison between business users and the technical team.
  4. Participating in software design collaboration sessions with Solutions Architect and Development teams to define software functionalities and enhancements of Infomax developed products and services.
  5. Managing development of Infomax developed products and services, features, and enhancements, as aligned with each product's roadmap.
  6. Coordinating activity schedules and user acceptance with the project delivery team and external clients.
  7. Formulating project scoping and pricing of services for project implementation of different packaged solutions proposed to external clients.
  8. Documenting project actualization costs to ensure that costs are within the budget and alerting the Team Lead when actual costs are about to exceed estimated costs.
  9. Leading Risk Assessment sessions with the Project team for identifying risks, ensuring mitigating plans are solid, and taking on the responsibility for follow-through of proposed mitigating plans for each assigned project.
  10. Consolidating and validating Build Packages and Patches, as endorsed by QA, for proper commercial versioning and documentation, and handing over to the implementation team.
  11. Monitoring software issues of Infomax developed products and services as handled by the Support team, from problem reporting to resolution.
  12. Conducting Post-Project Meetings with the project team to discuss different project aspects, such as lessons learned, what we did well, and what we can further improve on.
  13. Ensuring that all issues encountered during the Project Implementation Phase are properly addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  14. Conducting regular checkpoints/meetings with business users to ensure that issues are appropriately addressed.
  15. Researching new technologies for improving usage of marketed products and applications, as well as to enhance existing packaged solutions to clients.
  16. Participating in collaboration sessions with Solutions Architect and Development teams to discuss prioritization of software functionalities and enhancements of Infomax developed products and services.
