About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Senior Network Administrator to join our team at Solid Lyndelle Manpower Services Inc. in Taguig/ Ortigas.

Job Description

As an IT Senior Network Administrator, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining our current and new network infrastructure and security solutions. Your duties will include:

  • Periodically evaluating and driving the architecture and plan for future enhancements of our network environment.
  • Oversight of the evaluation and selection of new products and services.
  • Leadership role in overseeing active projects, including developing plans and schedules, interfacing with vendors, training personnel, acquiring hardware/software, and team management.
  • Creatng best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends.
  • Identifying and evaluating technical architecture to ensure solutions satisfy business requirements and performance goals.
  • Administering complex FW and IPS rule bases under change management and leading the implementation of business-critical changes or upgrades/updates.
  • Documenting all diagrams, policies, and procedures for newly deployed systems and reviewing them on a yearly basis.
  • Providing product lifecycle support for the platforms owned by the group, including active monitoring for new patches, releases, and hotfixes, and working with vendors as required.
  • Working closely with regional operations teams to ensure that the networking environment is actively monitored and any issues are addressed quickly.
  • Working with approved vendors when ordering equipment, services, or renewing maintenance.
  • Resolving technical issues with vendor support teams.
  • Auditing and reviewing all system logs for issues and remediating or escalating as needed.
  • Working with security to highlight and investigate incidents.
  • Providing 2nd-level support for all firewall and IPS incidents.
  • Leading role in Disaster Recovery activities owned by the group.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, COE, or ECE.
  • 10+ years overall experience, including CCNA certification.
  • CCNP preferred, with option for training/exam.
  • Azure AZ-900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
  • Experience working with technical trends, such as Cloud computing, to assess the future direction of technology.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Ability to work onsite 4-5 days a week in the company's offices in McKinley, Taguig, and Ortigas.
Competencies/Skills

You should demonstrate:

  • An in-depth understanding of IP networking, including routing, switching, and addressing concepts.
  • Operational and deployment experience with firewalls and exposure to VPNs on those platforms.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience with Fortigate firewalls and Cisco IPS platforms.
  • Additional desirable skills: Performance Monitoring, WAN optimization, DMZ deployment environments, Linux, and network switching.
  • Critical Thinking, including ability to learn quickly, solve problems independently, and make well-thought-out recommendations.
  • Security Standards, including a monitored environment, adherence to processes and standards, and data and infrastructure security.
  • Teamwork, including promoting a collaborative environment within and across IT teams.
  • Communications Skills, including effective oral and written communication and presentation of complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Project Management, including organization, self-sufficiency, and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Leadership and Team Management, including setting goals, building capabilities, coaching, providing feedback, driving change, and innovating ideas.

This position offers a competitive salary of $50,000-$75,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
