Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Operations Specialist to join our team at Dover Business Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax services to internal stakeholders and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, with experience in international indirect taxation and a working knowledge of emerging tax technologies. They will be able to analyze and interpret data, identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, review, and validate data supplied by business units and financial systems for tax-related financial reporting requirements
  • Lead or assist with tax process improvement projects, including software implementation, automation, and workpaper improvement
  • Identify and recommend process improvements, collaborating with other functions as necessary
  • Report progress and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain emerging tax technologies
  • Develop and deliver end-user training and maintain user documentation
  • Maintain tax automation and reporting tools
  • Maintain productivity and meet service level agreements in a complex environment
  • Interact with stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates
  • Assist with other projects or duties as assigned
