GUS Education Philippines is seeking a General Ledger Specialist to join our team.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing general ledger accounting tasks, including A/R, A/P, cash flow, and bank reconciliation, accounts reconciliation, such as revenue, intercompany, etc.
Main Duties- Support the Finance department in general accounting processes, month-end close procedures, and audit preparation.
- Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Analyze financial information and summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA designation is desirable
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills, working knowledge of SAGE or Agresso software considered an asset.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
