Virtual Computer Science Instructor

Foster a collaborative and engaging online learning environment as a Virtual Computer Science Instructor, driving student growth and development with the latest virtual teaching tools and resources.

Serve as a subject matter expert in computer science education, creating interactive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides. Deliver live online lessons, utilizing various digital tools to differentiate instruction and engage students. Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and growth, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans: Create dynamic online learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Utilize technology effectively: Leverage virtual teaching tools and resources to enhance student engagement, deepen understanding of material, and facilitate real-time collaboration.
  • Teach synchronously: Deliver live online lessons during regular school hours (minimum 4 hours), fostering a sense of community and connection among students.
  • Evaluate and grade assignments: Assess student work to track progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted support.
  • Provide actionable feedback: Offer constructive guidance to support student growth, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Represent the brand: Positively represent the organization's mission and values in all interactions, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
