Senior Tax Consultant

We are seeking a meticulous Tax Assistant to support our tax department in preparing and filing accurate tax returns. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in filing taxes, and a desire to grow within the field of taxation and accounting.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Preparation and submission of individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintenance of tax-related documents and records.
- Review of financial statements and identification of tax-saving opportunities.
- Communication with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify tax-related inquiries.
- Staying up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Providing support during audits and other financial reviews.
Candidates should possess:
- Prior experience in tax preparation or accounting is preferred.
- Experience in tax filing.
- A strong understanding of tax regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, ProSeries) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
