Product Risk Manager Role

This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework for the specific asset product. The goal is to ensure pro-active identification of emergent risks as well as existing risks and opportunities for enhancing risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly review, analyze and monitor the retail credit products portfolio to ensure the proactive identification of risks.
  • Review policies, guidelines and manuals, and coordinate with business units to support profitable business growth through appropriate risk management controls and capabilities.
  • Communicate the overall performance and risk assessment of the retail credit portfolio based on portfolio data, market information and economic factors to enhance awareness across Management for effective decision-making.
  • Continuously review, assess and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure the implementation of the risk management framework and compliance to regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience, with background on Risk Management principles, Portfolio Analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in Python and SAS is an advantage.
  • Highly analytical; skilled in programming, report creation, data management, project management and presentation skills.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization and external parties.
  • Ability to adjust to a dynamic environment; good attention to detail; willingness to improve and automate current processes.
