Job Overview

The OT Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of Shell's assets worldwide. This role is part of the SEAM organization, which integrates Safety, Environment & Asset Management activities to support Shell's business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industrial and Shell policies & standards by regularly reviewing and updating Terminals' Operating Manual, Procedures, and work instructions.
  • Closely monitor punch list items post OT Framework implementation activities across all Terminals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats in operational environments or projects.
  • Develop dashboards for monthly compliance monitoring for all terminals.
  • Assist in managing the MOC processes for changes to OT systems, including MOC creation, approvals, implementation, and close-out.
  • Execute annual LOD1 assessments in collaboration with Terminal Managers and Terminal OT SFPs.
  • Maintain a System Life Cycle & Obsolescence plan for the Terminals.
  • Provide first-line support for alarm monitoring to detect unusual activities and potential threats.
  • Support Secure PCD related activities.
  • Execute, onboard, and maintain nodes/devices on Solarwinds for all Shell Terminals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Control & Automation in Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals or similar environment (Maintenance, Engineering or Projects engineering support).
  • Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity/PCD integrity management in Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Familiar with ISA/IEC 62243 standards.
  • Knowledge of Process Safety fundamentals.
