Job Description

The General Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of general accounting related deliverables. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of daily bank reconciliation, weekly bank summary, and liquidity report.
  • Reconciliation of fixed assets additions to ensure proper registration in the system.
  • Registration of fixed assets additions, monthly activities such as depreciation run, preparation of entries for disposal and transfers, and maintenance of fixed asset register/lapsing schedule.
  • Cash receipts allocation in the Receivable module.
  • Preparation of month-end journals, including prepayments amortization, accruals, cost reallocations, manual reclassifications, and other adjustments.
  • Performance of monthly VAT validation and reconciliation.
  • Maintenance of non-critical account reconciliations and provision of relevant schedules and analyses on a monthly basis.
