Collaboration and Data Management Specialist

This is a pivotal role in configuring, customising, and maintaining SharePoint Online to facilitate collaboration, data management, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and customise SharePoint Online sites, subsites, lists, libraries, and metadata to support business processes and ensure seamless user experience.
  • Develop page layouts, web parts, and workflows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Establish secure and user-friendly document libraries, team sites, and communication sites to promote collaboration and information sharing.
  • Implement and manage user permissions, access levels, and content governance to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Integrate Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and configure solutions that meet their needs.
  • Support AI-enabled document retrieval, such as Copilot integration for FAQs and product manuals.
  • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to SharePoint users to enhance their productivity and skills.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience configuring and managing SharePoint Online is required.
  • Strong knowledge of site structure, lists, libraries, and permissions is essential.
  • Experience with setting up SharePoint applications and Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for customisation is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are necessary to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail with focus on usability and governance is crucial to ensure high-quality deliverables.
