We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to join HawodTech Solutions' team. As a key member of our product development life cycle, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  1. Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  2. Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  3. Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
  4. Automating tests for new features using our existing automation framework.
  5. Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs.
  6. Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  7. Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  8. Ensuring quality objectives are being met, maintained, and consistently followed.
  9. Investigating the causes of non-conforming software.
  10. Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  1. Experience in the 'Quality' domain and expertise in 'Quality Engineering and Automation.'
  2. Well-versed knowledge of QE Methodology and practices, with demonstrated experience in an SDE/SDET Role.
  3. Experience in automating testing of API (Rest and Soap) and web-based applications using open-source libraries like RestAssured etc.
  4. Hands-on experience in any automation framework like Selenium Webdriver, webdriverIO, webdriverJS Nightwatch, Cypress etc.
  5. Excellent knowledge of GitHub, and Azure/TFS is a must.
  6. Expertise in data validation testing by writing complex SQL.
  7. Knowledge in design & implementation of automation frameworks via Data Driven/Keyword/Hybrid models.
  8. Experience in creating automation test cases based on manual test cases.
  9. Exposure working in an Agile development environment with an understanding of Scrum Methodology (BDD, TDD).
  10. Well-versed with concepts of performance & load testing (Hands-on experience in any tool like Load Runner, JMeter is desirable).
  11. Strong ability to debug code, analyze failures, and trace defects to the root cause.
  12. Solid experience in Black Box Testing.
  13. Experience with automation frameworks and tools.
  14. Experience in a high-level programming language like Java, .Net.
  15. Knowledge on writing and modifying DB Queries.
