About the Job
- Analyze security alerts, logs, and forensic data to identify potential threats and assess their impact.
- Develop and refine threat detection processes, playbooks, and procedures to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to share information and best practices in threat detection and mitigation.
- Conduct regular threat hunting activities, leveraging experience in digital forensics and incident management to identify potential security risks.
- Mentor junior analysts, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall security posture.
- Stay current with industry developments, emerging threats, and evolving security regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective incident response and resolution.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and decision-making.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of threat landscapes, attack techniques, and security frameworks.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and other security technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCIH, CISSP, CEH) highly valued.
- Experience with cloud security, penetration testing, and ethical hacking techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotational shifts as needed.
