Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rigging Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials within our facility.

Responsibilities
  • Align and level machinery for proper installation.
  • Attach loads to rigging systems using hand and power tools.
  • Install pulleys and blocks on fixed structures for support and movement.
  • Control heavy equipment movement through tight spaces using specialized gear.
  • Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
  • Fabricate, set up, and repair rigging systems and supporting structures.
  • Manipulate rigging lines and hoists to move or support materials.
  • Select appropriate gear for load weights and sizes.
  • Direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads for safety.
  • Test rigging for safety and reliability.
  • Maneuver suspended loads over obstacles using multi-point suspension techniques.
