Role Overview

This Senior Data Governance Analyst role at Fresenius Medical Care involves serving as a subject-matter expert, consulting closely with the business to develop and maintain the global Human Resources (HR) data governance framework. The ideal candidate will have experience with global data governance and quality strategies, proficiency in metadata and data quality tools, and in-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms, business intelligence tools, data warehousing, and data visualization. Key responsibilities include executing GPA&E COE strategy, implementing and managing the data dictionary and business glossary, partnering with the team to resolve data issues, and maintaining awareness of current trends and best practices in data governance and quality.

Responsibilities:
1. Execute GPA&E COE strategy related to global data governance and quality strategies for HR data.
2. Implement and manage the data dictionary and business glossary for global HR; provide guidance to data consumers and SMEs on clear data definitions, lineage, and metadata.
3. Partner with the team in resolving data issues throughout the organization and determine issue scope; communicate solutions to data consumers.
4. Promote awareness of Fresenius Medical Care's data ecosystem and govern data assets based on policies and standards set by the HR Data Governance Program.
5. Maintain awareness of current trends and best practices related to data governance and quality; continuously improve end-to-end processes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 – 8 years related experience
- Proficiency in metadata and data quality tools
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms, business intelligence tools, data warehousing, and data visualization
