Mortgage Loan Application Processing Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting internal brokers with customer lending applications.
  • Managing the submission process of loan applications through to settlement.
  • Conducting title searches, ABN checks, and Veda credit checks to support loan processing.
  • Performing accurate and timely data entry into lender portals.
  • Overseeing compliance documentation, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
  • Maintaining clear communication with BDMs, credit teams, and settlement teams across multiple lenders.
  • Submitting loan applications to lenders, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
  • Monitoring the progress of loan applications from submission to settlement, addressing any issues or delays.
  • Executing a post-settlement communication plan, keeping customers informed on behalf of the broker.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' accounting experience, with a focus on Asset Finance Processing or Mortgage Loan Processing for Australian companies.
  • Proficient in using loan software, particularly ApplyOnline; familiarity with LoanApp and Mercury is a plus.
  • Previous experience working on AU broker support or loan application processing campaigns is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and reporting tools (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
