About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer with a strong background in Azure Data Platform to join our global team. This role requires hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining complex cloud solutions using Azure services, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of cloud solutions on Azure Data Platform, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with external service providers during solution implementation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integration solutions, including working with data from SAP and Salesforce.
  • Evaluate and ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability across all stages of the ETL lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or further studies in Data Science/Analytics is beneficial.
  • 4-8 years of proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Engineer or similar role with a focus on the Azure Data Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in:

  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Azure Cognitive Services
  • Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Azure certification: DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate) or AZ-305 (Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions).
  • Skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL development.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with DAMA data management principles is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
