Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable and reliable infrastructure for production and development environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing containerized applications with Kubernetes, preferably on AWS EKS, and a solid understanding of AWS services and how they interconnect within modern cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for cloud-native applications.
  • Manage and enhance container orchestration systems—primarily Kubernetes (EKS)—while working across core AWS services like EC2, ALB, IAM, and VPC networking.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of applications and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and configuration management solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor and optimize system availability, latency, and performance across the full stack—from infrastructure to backend services.
  • Develop internal tools and scripts to increase operational efficiency, resilience, and security.
  • Lead or contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure engineering role supporting production environments at scale.
  • Hands-on expertise in managing containerized applications with Kubernetes, preferably on AWS EKS.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services and how they interconnect within modern cloud architectures.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, as well as configuration management solutions.
  • Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
  • Proficient in scripting or programming languages such as Python or Go for automation and tooling.
  • Strong understanding of observability best practices—including logging, metrics, and tracing—with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
  • Skilled at diagnosing and troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performance issues.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams in fast-paced settings.
