Executive Pastry Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at Riviera Golf Club, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to showcase their skills in creating exquisite pastries and breads that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply the restaurant and tee houses with freshly baked products, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
2. Collaborate with the team to develop weekend buffet menus and bakery requirements, guaranteeing a seamless execution.
3. Maintain visually appealing display of breads, cakes, and pastries, adhering to high standards of presentation and quality.
4. Provide recipes for costing purposes, facilitating accurate pricing and inventory management.
5. Record spoilages and implement waste reduction strategies to minimize losses.
6. Recycle leftover materials whenever possible, promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.
7. Monitor daily inventory requisitions, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing stockouts.
8. Maintain all baking equipment in excellent condition, reporting any wear and tear to ensure prompt maintenance and replacement.
9. Perform other related tasks assigned by superiors, contributing to the overall success of the culinary team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food and Beverage Services Management, Culinary Arts, or equivalent field.
• At least 6 months of work experience in the hotel and/or restaurant industry, preferably in a pastry or baking role.
• Excellent knowledge of hot and cold food preparation techniques.
• Skilled in cooking European breads, pastries, local breads, and native delicacies.
• Able to operate various pastry machines and equipment efficiently.
• Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the role long-term.
• Willingness to work in Silang, Cavite.
