The Senior Security Assurance Leader will spearhead security assurance initiatives and drive compliance with multiple security frameworks. This role demands extensive experience with cybersecurity frameworks and audits.

  • Lead and manage the Security Assurance programs to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and facilitate external audits, including HITRUST, SOC, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
  • Assess and identify gaps in security controls and develop strategies for remediation and improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks and influence the organization's security strategy.
  • Develop and implement security standards and policies in alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to evaluate the security posture of the organization and its assets.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure cohesive security practices across the organization.
  • Review change management requests to ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security compliance requirements in contracts.
  • Prepare and present regular updates to senior leadership on the status of security assurance initiatives and audit findings.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security assurance and compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as HITRUS CSF, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading external audit engagements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
