Senior Contract Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Senior Contract Administrator to manage contracts and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts to guarantee compliance with company policies.
  • Verify contract terms, scope coverage, and inclusions/exclusions to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Check material quantities and scope coverage against project requirements to prevent discrepancies.
  • Utilize Bluebeam to review drawings, markups, and perform takeoffs as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies or gaps in contractor submissions, providing solutions and recommendations when necessary.
  • Compare contractor quotes and scopes to ensure accurate evaluation and selection of contractors.
  • Prepare recommendations for contractor selection based on price, scope, and compliance, ensuring the best value for the company.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contractor pricing and project-related documentation, ensuring easy access to essential information.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reporting to the Construction Manager on contract status and variations, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in contract administration or project support within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of contract terms, scopes, and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam for drawing review, takeoffs, and documentation, with ApprovalMax experience valued.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
