Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Likas Yaman Service Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, positioning, and aligning ship parts using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, position, and align ship parts such as bulkheads, decks, and frames
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, and other tools necessary for fitting tasks
• Assist in the repair and replacement of worn or damaged ship components

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a minimum of a High/Senior High School degree

Experience Level:

• Seeking individuals with 1-3 years of experience in a related field

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in blueprint interpretation
• Problem-solving skills
• Adherence to safety protocols
• Metal fabrication expertise
• Tack welding proficiency
• Hand tool and jig operation skills

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location factors.
