Job Summary

This role plays a pivotal part in building and refining financial models at the portfolio level, delivering debt and tax-equity investor reporting requirements, and managing operating portfolios of photovoltaic and battery storage assets.

You'll collaborate with capital markets, project accounting, FP&A, regulatory, land and stakeholder management, customer success, and operations teams to inform budgets and reforecasts. This individual will have opportunities for future growth and development amongst a group of high-achieving professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and enhance portfolio-level financial models to inform operational decisions.
  • Develop project-level budget to actual variance analysis and communicate findings to operational teams.
  • Highlight underperformance and optimize operating assets, leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
  • Prepare reporting packages and deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure key alerts are delivered and protect portfolios from risk.
  • Builddata infrastructure to isolate and investigate performance drivers such as energy rates, production, and other metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Creative mindset with analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating information, ideas, and perspectives to various audiences.
  • Experience working with large datasets, querying databases, and using ERPs like NetSuite.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
