About the Role

You will manage the Branch's foreign currency denominated securities portfolio, achieve desired goals in portfolio mix quality, yield, and profitability, and take and manage proprietary positions in the foreign exchange market.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage securities and FX portfolio and liquidity.
  2. Maximize returns of the portfolio based on the house view by taking position in foreign currency-denominated sovereign/corporate securities.
  3. Analyze market conditions using fundamental and technical indicators and provide analysis/update to management, clients, and concerned units.
  4. Capture all done transactions in the applicable trading platform in a timely and accurate manner.
  5. Monitor balances of the nostro accounts and ensure minimum required balances are maintained on a daily basis.
  6. Execute interbank lending/borrowing and/or foreign exchange swaps.
  7. Operate within agreed parameters set in Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO) policies and guidelines to maintain statutory, operational, and stress liquidity targets and ratios at all times.
  8. Hold excellent knowledge of treasury products, treasury systems, and procedures, and strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  9. Attend to administrative-related matters such as preparation of various reportorial requirements both regulatory and for treasury meetings.
  10. Perform other duties assigned from time to time.
