Responsibilities
  1. Direct food preparation and collaborate with the executive chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  2. Design and implement menus that showcase creativity and attention to detail.
  3. Oversee and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional performance.
  4. Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety standards.
  6. Provide suggestions for improving kitchen efficiency and performance.
  7. Train new employees and develop their skills to meet kitchen demands.
  8. Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to avoid stockouts.
  9. Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  10. Solve problems promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime and disruption.

Requirements
Education
A Bachelor's or College Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management or Culinary Arts.

Work Experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of cooking experience in a fine dining or hotel environment, preferably in a culinary leadership role. Safe Food Handling Certification is mandatory.

Key Skills
The ability to perform well under pressure, communicate effectively, and work long hours in hot conditions. Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for extended periods.
