Job Overview

The position of Database Migration Specialist is responsible for spearheading the migration of applications from legacy systems to Microsoft SQL Server using SSMA.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of database migration and application development, as well as experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application migration
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for applications and processes
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues as needed

Candidates should be experts in Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) and hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
