Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager for Water Efficiency to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development of strategies that reduce non-revenue water losses.

About the Role:

  • To plan, monitor, and control water system losses and apply non-revenue water reduction standards, techniques, and methodologies.
  • To undertake location and pinpointing of leaks in pipelines using basic type of leak detection equipment.
  • To conduct site investigations and data gathering to diagnose status/condition of the network and its appurtenances in the target system/area based on standard operating procedures or methodologies with minimal supervision from the immediate head.
  • To determine and decide on the appropriate technology/methodology to use in the identification and pinpointing of losses/leaks of any nature/type in an unusual condition (e.g., river/creek crossing, multiple pipes, etc.).
  • To define and approximate water network boundaries of a proposed/planned DMA/Zone based on available maps, relevant technical data/information, set criteria, and objectives complete with actual validation in the field.
  • To ascertain, estimate, and organize all necessary resources to effectively implement NRW plans/activities.
  • To supervise the development of monitoring applications or an automated system of monitoring NRW status that will improve/enhance the efficiency of developed NRW management programs. Project identification, assessment/optioneering, and implementation.
  • To develop programs and conceptualize projects that will reduce and manage NRW of a complex system with multiple facilities.
  • To decide on the most economical strategies to adopt in addressing/controlling NRW and provide inputs on how to best design and construct the entire system that is NRW proof.
  • To identify and design alternative or unconventional approaches to reduce/manage NRW for an area/system which has a highly challenging/complex condition (e.g., intermittent water supply, unknown pipes, etc.).
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective NRW reduction strategies that meet the company's goals and objectives.
  • To lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of NRW reduction projects.
  • To analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing NRW reduction programs and recommend improvements.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, customers, and vendors.
  • To stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in NRW reduction and implement new ideas and concepts into the company's operations.
