Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Responsible for ensuring the hospital's financial viability by monitoring collections, cash flow, and accurate payments.
    • Coordinates with other departments to address any issues related to patient billing and other financial concerns.
  • Internal Audit and Control
    • Overseeing financial policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and mitigating risks through effective internal controls.
    • Collaborate with auditors to assess financial accuracy, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Oversees the preparation, review, and adjustment of monthly journal entries and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Provides necessary reports for management.
  • Budgeting
    • Prepares the annual hospital budget, including operating budget, consolidated departmental budget requests, and capital expenditures budget.
  • Tax Compliance
    • Ensures compliance with statutory permits, licenses, and timely tax remittance.
    • Handles the renewal applications for various hospital licenses, coordinating with key stakeholders.
  • Other Functions
    • Performs other functions as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (master's degree or MBA is a plus); CPA is an advantage.
  • With at least 3 years of experience in the same capacity.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Experience in healthcare or hospital industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in various Microsoft Office Applications.
