  • We are looking for a proactive individual to handle all aspects of rate management, including obtaining rates from airlines, shipping lines, and truckers.
  • The successful candidate will generate formal quotations by the agreed-upon markup scheme with sales and ensure the quality of the proposal is maintained and as per set standards.
  • They will follow up on the progress of submitted RFQs and keep the monitoring updated.
  • The Tariff and Pricing Assistant will inform the sales or relevant parties promptly about any rate changes.
  • Ensuring all RFQs and buying rates are regularly updated, and initiate renewals prior to contract expiration
  • Encodes buying and selling rates from various airlines, shipping lines, agents, consolidators, truckers, and other service providers.
  • Contributes to company profit, increased sales, and cost reduction through rate negotiations
  • Validate invoices from the service provider and prepare requests for payment processing
  • Implements and carries out functions in compliance with documented quality procedures as may be formally and officially defined by the immediate superior or by the executive management
  • Reviews and highlights exceptions noted during review of the status listing and initiates corrective actions.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by immediate superior or head from time to time.
