Job Title: Medical Documenter
">Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Documenter. In this role, you will be responsible for documenting patient interactions in real-time, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Patient Encounters: Use Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to document patient encounters, capturing accurate and detailed patient histories, physical exam findings, and treatment plans.
- Maintain Patient Charts: Update and maintain patient charts, medication lists, and problem lists, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist with Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as templating notes and visit summaries, to ensure seamless communication between providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with providers and patients.
- Clinical Experience: Have at least 1-2 years of experience as a medical scribe or in a clinical documentation role, with knowledge of medical terminologies and clinical workflows.
- Technical Skills: Be proficient with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office, with experience working with EMRs, such as Epic, Cerner, or AthenaHealth, a plus.
