Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Automation and Calibration Expert to lead our calibration and automation functions at the Medina Plant. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation, control systems, and industrial automation, with experience in preventive maintenance and calibration program implementation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and monitor calibration schedules for plant instruments, equipment, and measuring devices.
  • Supervise and maintain automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and instrumentation, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of control systems and automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with Production, QA, and Engineering teams to resolve system and equipment-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of calibration, test results, and equipment performance.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to team members on calibration and automation systems.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize production processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related field.
  • Licensed Engineer (preferred but not required).
  • At least 5 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or automation within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of PLC, SCADA, sensors, control systems, and industrial automation.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance and calibration program implementation.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, and other manufacturing quality requirements.
