Data Scientist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team and take on the challenge of uncovering insights from complex data. This role is central to driving business success by analyzing operational and labeling data.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in statistical modeling, experimental design, and data analysis. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve program performance.

This is a strategic role where you will:

  • Develop and maintain program and rater performance metrics.
  • Design and analyze experiments to uncover drivers of performance and label patterns.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and automated monitoring systems using Business Intelligence tools.
  • Identify and highlight potential biases or preferences in labeling data.
  • Collaborate with linguists, raters, and program managers to translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Conduct applied analytics using Python, SQL, and statistical modeling.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and R programming languages.
  • Applied expertise in statistical modeling, experimental design, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with large datasets and ability to scale analyses as data volume grows.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence/visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Sisense, Tableau, or PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with bias detection, NLP, or machine learning models.
  • Knowledge of quality metrics and evaluation methods.
  • Background in quality, linguistic, or cultural data analysis is a plus.
